Our Mission

To develop, strengthen, and protect Georgia neighborhood associations through education, programs, and legislation.

Our Vision

The Georgia HOA Alliance, a nonprofit, is a coalition of Georgia communities dedicated to building quality neighborhoods that are economically sustainable while creating safe and healthy environments. We work to make Georgia a better place to live, work, and play.

Our Story

Stronger together than apart

A Homeowners Association Alliance is a group of two or more HOAs that join together for a common purpose. Founded in 2014, the HOA Alliance was built to unite and empower Georgia’s residents and homeowners associations — so no neighborhood has to navigate the challenges of community governance alone.

What began as a coalition has grown into a statewide network of county chapters, each serving its own communities while drawing on the collective strength, advocacy, and resources of the Alliance.

Across Georgia, the Alliance gives homeowners and board members a unified voice — on the issues that shape their communities, from zoning and property taxes to community safety and the laws that govern association life.

It’s a mission rooted in a simple belief: when communities share knowledge, pool resources, and speak as one, every neighborhood becomes stronger, fairer, and more sustainable.

What We Do

Five ways the Alliance serves

The Alliance helps homeowners associations work as one — and gives every community a seat at the table.

Advocacy

One of the primary objectives of an HOA Alliance is to advocate for the collective interests of participating associations. This can involve lobbying local or state government officials on issues that affect homeowners, such as zoning regulations, property taxes, and community safety.

Information Sharing

HOA Alliances facilitate the sharing of information among participating associations, including best practices for governance and financial management, plus legal developments and other news that may impact HOAs.

Resource Pooling

HOA Alliances enable participating associations to pool resources and work collaboratively on initiatives that benefit all members, including joint purchasing agreements, shared services such as landscaping or security, and collective marketing efforts.

Education & Training

HOA Alliances provide education and training opportunities for board members and other community leaders, including workshops or seminars on effective governance, financial management, and legal compliance.

Networking

HOA Alliances facilitate networking opportunities for board members and other community leaders, allowing them to connect with peers from other associations and learn from their experiences.

HOA Alliance Objectives

Built for stronger communities

Overall, the objectives of an HOA Alliance are to create a stronger, more cohesive community of HOAs that can work together to achieve their goals and improve the quality of life for their residents.

Exchange ideas and experiences

Provide HOA leadership with opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences.

Develop mutually beneficial relationships with HOA members, leaders, and other communities throughout Georgia.

Meet member needs
