Today, I joined County leaders and operational teams to announce a major step forward in addressing illegal tire dumping in DeKalb County. Through a $250,000 cleanup initiative, we have already removed more than 37,000 illegally dumped tires from neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and private property across our county.
Today’s press conference highlighted real progress and real accountability. This work is about protecting our environment, improving public safety, and reclaiming our communities. Cleanup efforts are ongoing, and we are advancing stronger enforcement and legislative solutions to hold large-scale dumpers accountable.
